Three 2.8 meter silos were recently transported from Žilina to Knottingley. The cargo, which was 88 tonnes and 45 meters, was first brought from Žilina to the Cuxhaven, Germany with the help of both a trailer and girder bridge. From here the silos were placed in semi-trailers which brought down the total length to 33 meters. They were transported by a DFDS ferry service to Immingham. Finally the cargoes reached Knottingley with a diameter of 4 meters each.
